Ground Floor Holiday Cottage (sleeps 4)

The holiday cottage is on the ground floor and completely level. From the car park it has its own garden gate and external door. A small entrance hall with coat and boot space leads into the spacious, sociable open plan living area, bright and airy, with a relaxing coastal feel. Comfy leather sofas and driftwood tables around the original Norfolk brick fireplace create an inviting and very cosy sitting room.
The attractive, well equipped dining kitchen has a fan assisted oven, De Longhi microwave, and fridge/freezer compartment. Tea, coffee, fresh milk and Norfolk fruit cake are provided for your arrival, so you can walk straight in and put the kettle on.
There are two bedrooms: one double and one twin, with luxurious wrought iron beds and crisp white linen. The single beds are adult size. Both rooms have ample clothes storage in wardrobes and drawers, handpainted in restful Farrow & Ball grey.
There's a shower room with a washbasin and spacious shower, and a separate cloakroom with wc /washbasin.
The cottage has its own private seaside style garden, with pebbles, crabpots and coastal planting: sea daisies, grasses, palms and colourful phormiums. It's sunny for most of the day, with views across to the tall pine trees of Hooks Hill. There's a garden table and parasol, 'beach hut' bike storage, and a south facing sun terrace, perfect for relaxing with a glass of something chilled!
The cottage is a true home from home, with holiday reading, a games cupboard and wooden jigsaws, a flatscreen television, Bluetooth sound system with CD player and DAB radio, DVD player, and high speed wifi. You'll find everything you need to plan your holiday: local interest books, walking guides and maps, local attraction leaflets, bus/train timetables and tide tables, our own detailed information handbook, and hand drawn maps of the best walks from Magnolia Cottage.
There's ample, easily accessed off road parking on our driveway; you'll always have plenty of space to return to. Our location on Holt Road gives easy access to the surrounding coast and countryside, without having to drive through the town centre.
