Magnolia Cottage, in the seaside town of Sheringham, is a picturesque Edwardian house with character, charm and history. A peaceful retreat, yet close to the heart of town, it's perfectly placed for exploring the beautiful North Norfolk coast.
We have two attractive holiday apartments, Stables and Gables. Stables, on the ground floor, is level throughout, and sleeps four; Gables, on the first floor, is a cosy hideaway for two. There's ample off-street parking, a lawned guest garden and summerhouse. Magnolia Cottage is our home; we look after both apartments ourselves and take pride in ensuring they are beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. Most of our bookings are from regular guests, and we have consistent top ratings online.
Our location is excellent, in a leafy residential area, just a stroll from Sheringham's seafront and beach, independent shops, theatre, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Around the corner are the clifftop golf course and Poppy Line steam railway. The Coasthopper bus and Bittern Line train to Norwich are conveniently close, and there are miles of coast and country walks from the door.
Sheringham lies on the North Norfolk coast, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, an unspoilt landscape of saltmarsh, shingle and glorious beaches. There's a wealth of interest in a compact area: stately homes and gardens, steam trains, pretty market towns, wildlife reserves, seal colonies, birdwatching, the Norfolk Coast Path and a fabulous array of eating spots, all served by excellent transport links.
We moved to Sheringham from Yorkshire in 2012, having fallen in love with North Norfolk over thirty years of our own family holidays; living in this special place is a joy. We're here to offer a friendly welcome, and on hand if there's anything you need during your stay. Do follow us on Facebook and Instagram (buttons above). We look forward to meeting you!
